the Anti Corruption Bureau of Investigation (ACBI) is a unit composed of Police officers from the Anti Corruption branch
and civilians (university grads) trained in relevant skills to catch corrupt public officials and police officers.
it will be headed by a Commonwealth Jurist for a contract period not exceeding 2 years.
the reports will be sent directly to the DPP and the parliament will be notified to ensure that follow up is done.
Parliament will not, however, be able to stop an investigation once it has begun.
The ACBI will be expected to have a file on all public officers, judges and on all public projects and government programmes.
